Accelerated mathematics (for students K-9):
The Accelerated Math is intended for students to help them develop good math skills. The course covers basic mathematics skills, introduction level to algebra, geometry, numbers. -
Enriched mathematics.
The Enriched Mathematics course is intended for students who have shown an interest and aptitude in mathematics. The Enriched program covers the same material as the Academic Program and injects further topics of study to extend and deepen knowledge and understanding of a variety of math concepts.
- Introductory Enriched Math - (for student grades 6-9)
- Algebra:
A thorough introduction for students to algebra topics such as linear equations, ratios, quadratic equations, special factorizations, complex numbers, graphing linear and quadratic equations, linear and quadratic inequalities, functions, polynomials, exponents and logarithms, absolute value, sequences and series, and more!
- Geometry:
A full course in challenging geometry for students, including topics such as similar triangles, congruent triangles, quadrilaterals, polygons, circles, funky areas, power of a point, three-dimensional geometry, transformations, introductory trigonometry, and more.
- Number Theory:
A thorough introduction for students to topics in number theory such as primes & composites, multiples & divisors, prime factorization and its uses, simple Diophantine equations, base numbers, modular arithmetic, divisibility rules, linear congruences, how to develop number sense, and more.
- Intermediate Enriched Math - (for student grades 9 -12 )
- Algebra:
Course covers basic algebra topics, complex numbers, quadratics and conic sections, polynomials, multivariable expressions, sequences and series, identities, inequalities, exponents and logarithms, piecewise-defined functions, functional equations, and much more.
- PreCalculus:
Course covers trigonometry, complex numbers, vectors, and matrices. Includes many problems from math competitions.
- Calculus:
Course covers include limits, continuity, derivatives, integrals, power series, plane curves, and differential equations. Course includes a wide range of problems, from routine exercises to extremely challenging problems.
All courses include problems to help students learn the key problem solving skills needed for success in top universities and in the most competitive careers, as well as in major math competitions.
- Advanced Enriched Math - (college/university level)
